Founded by Ashley
B.T.R. NATION makes plant-protein bars, superfood nut butter bars, crispy rice treats and dark chocolate nut butter cups, all made without refined sugar. Founder Ashley started the brand after years of caring for both of her parents during cancer treatment, when hospital vending machines offered little she wanted to eat. B.T.R. stands for her parents' mantra, "Be Bold, Tenacious & Resilient," and the company is a tribute to them.

Do the bars need to be refrigerated?
No. They are shelf stable, though a short time in the fridge firms them up if they arrive a little soft in warm weather.
Do the chocolate cups need to be refrigerated?
No. If they arrive melty, enjoy them as they are or chill them for a few minutes.
