Byte'm makes bite-sized brownies with a crisp edge and a fudgy, chewy center, packed five to a resealable pouch. The range covers Classic, Cookies'n Cream and S'mores, made with chocolate chips listed first on the panel, real butter and real vanilla. Best friends Jack and Jacob started the brand in New York by reworking Jack's mom's brownie recipe over forty-odd batches.

• What goes into the brownies?

  Chocolate chips are the first ingredient, along with real butter, real vanilla and a low flour ratio.

• What allergens do they contain?

  All packs contain wheat, dairy, eggs and soy, and they are made in a facility that also processes peanuts and tree nuts.

• How long do they keep?

  Unopened pouches are shelf stable for nine months from production, with no refrigeration needed. Reseal the pouch once opened.

• Do they need baking or thawing?

  No. They are ready straight from the pouch, and about ten seconds in the microwave makes the fudge run.

• Will they melt in hot weather?

  Brownies have no coating to melt, so they hold up better than chocolate bars.
