About Daily Crunch

Founded by Diane, Co-founder

Daily Crunch makes flavored sprouted nut snacks. Almonds, cashews and seeds are soaked, then dried at low temperature instead of roasted, which leaves a light, hollow center and a chip-like crunch with no seed or palm oils. Flavors range from Sea Salt + Vinegar and Dill Pickle to Churro and Sweet Chai. The women-owned brand grew from co-founder Diane's years of sprouting almonds at home and launched with her niece Laurel in 2020.

Good to know

Answered by Daily Crunch.

  • What does sprouted mean?

The nuts are soaked in purified water to activate them, much as a seed begins to grow. This also helps form the light, hollow center behind the brand's signature crunch.

  • How are these different from raw or roasted nuts?

They are sprouted and then gently dehydrated at low temperature rather than roasted in high heat or oil. The result is a light, crisp texture unlike raw or roasted nuts.

  • What happens during the sprout-and-dehydrate process?

The nuts soak and swell as a hollow core forms, are dried at low temperature to remove moisture, and are then seasoned with simple ingredients, with no seed oils, palm oils or artificial flavors.

  • Are the nuts oily?

No. Because they are never roasted in oil, there is no oily coating or residue.

  • Are the products gluten-free?

All products are made with gluten-free ingredients and are dairy-free, but they are not gluten-free certified.

  • Are the products organic?

Not all products are certified organic. The brand uses ingredients with no artificial additives or flavors.

  • Are the products vegan?

They are made with plant-based ingredients and contain no dairy or animal products, but they are not certified vegan.
