Farmers Juice

Farmers Juice makes certified organic cold-pressed green juices, fruit and root juices, smoothies and small wellness shots, delivered in refrigerated boxes. Each juice packs about 1.5 pounds of produce, much of it cosmetically imperfect fruit and vegetables that grocers pass over, and the leftover pulp goes to feed dairy cows. The juices are small-batch crafted in California and kept fresh with high-pressure processing rather than heat. Founder Junaid, who calls himself the Chief Juicer, started the brand with a focus on farmers and the planet.

• How do the juices stay fresh for weeks?

  They go through high-pressure processing (HPP), which uses very high pressure and cold temperatures instead of preservatives or additives to extend shelf life.

• How long do the juices and shots last?

  Up to 4 to 6 weeks from shipment, based on the expiration date printed on the bottle.

• Can I freeze the bottles?

  Freezing isn't recommended, as the juice can expand and break the bottle. Keep them refrigerated at around 41°F.

• Can kids drink the juice?

  Yes, the brand says its cold-pressed juice works well as an alternative to sugary drinks for kids.

• What sizes do the drinks come in?

  Cold-pressed juices come in 12oz bottles and wellness shots in 2oz bottles.

• Is the packaging recyclable?

  Yes. The bottles, box and liner are all recycle-friendly, and the bottles are made from 100% recycled plastic.
