About Fix & Fogg
Founded by Roman and Andrea Jewell, Co-founders
Fix & Fogg makes natural peanut, almond and cashew butters in New Zealand, many from just two ingredients: roasted nuts and a pinch of New Zealand sea salt. The range also takes in seed-loaded Everything Butter, smoky chilli peanut butter, chocolate and pistachio spreads, and squeeze pouches that have been eaten on the International Space Station. Founders Roman and Andrea Jewell left corporate jobs and began selling at Wellington farmers markets, naming the brand after the characters in Around the World in 80 Days.

Yes. The chocolate varieties have no added milk, but the chocolate is made on a line that handles dairy, so tiny traces are possible.

The range has recently moved to gluten free, so check the may-contain statement on your jar. Cookie Time Cookie Crunch contained flour and is not gluten free.
Which nut butters have no added sugar?
Smooth, Super Crunchy, Dark Roast, Protein, Smoke and Fire, Cashew, Almond, Everything Butter and Almond Everything Butter have no added sugar.
Where do the peanuts come from?
Hi-oleic peanuts grown in and around the Córdoba region of central Argentina.

Yes, all products are regularly lab tested.
Does it need to be refrigerated?
No. Keep it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Why is there oil on top of the jar?
With no additives, the natural nut oil separates over time. Give it a stir, or store the jar upside down now and then with the lid on tight.
Where does the name come from?
From Phileas Fogg and Detective Fix, characters in Jules Verne's novel Around the World in 80 Days.
