About HighKey

HighKey makes low-sugar, low-carb versions of familiar snacks: mini cookies, sandwich cookies, vanilla wafers, almond flour crackers and soft baked mini muffins. The snacks are sweetened with a blend of monk fruit, stevia extract and erythritol rather than cane sugar or corn syrup, and every product is gluten-free. The brand began when one of its co-founders gave up sugar but still craved chocolate chip cookies, and he worked with a James Beard award-winning friend to develop a recipe.

Good to know

Answered by HighKey.

  • Are HighKey products gluten-free?

Yes, every HighKey product is gluten-free.

  • What sweeteners does HighKey use?

A blend of monk fruit, stevia extract and erythritol. A few products also use allulose.

  • Are the products safe for people with tree nut allergies?

Many recipes include almond flour, coconut flour or coconut oil, and the products are made in facilities that also process tree nuts. Check each ingredient list carefully.

  • Are HighKey snacks kosher?

Not at this time. The products are not kosher certified.

  • How should I store HighKey snacks?

Anywhere cool and dry, such as a pantry or desk drawer. No refrigeration or freezing is needed.

  • How are net carbs calculated?

Dietary fiber, erythritol, allulose and glycerin are subtracted from total carbs. For example, the Chocolate Chip Mini Cookies have 12g total carbs, 2g fiber and 9g erythritol, for 1g net carbs.

  • Why do the sandwich cookies look different now?

Manufacturing moved back in-house, so the cookies now carry a stamped HighKey logo and are slightly smaller. The net weight and recipe are unchanged.
