About Hydrant
Founded by John Sherwin, Co-founder
Hydrant makes single-serve electrolyte drink mixes flavored with real fruit juice powder and sweetened with a little cane sugar and monk fruit, with no stevia, sucralose or synthetic dyes. Alongside the original Hydrate mix, the range includes caffeinated Energy, Sleep and Immunity blends, plus no-added-sugar and unflavored options. The brand was started by co-founders John Sherwin, a scientist, and Jai, a finance consultant, and its mixes are made in the USA.
Good to know
Answered by Hydrant.
Are Hydrant mixes gluten-free?
Yes. The Hydrate, Energy, Sleep and Immunity mixes are all certified gluten-free.
Are the mixes vegan?
The Hydrate and Energy mixes are certified vegan.
Do the mixes use artificial sweeteners?
No. There are no artificial sweeteners or stevia; a small amount of monk fruit extract adds sweetness.
How much sugar is in a serving?
Between 0 and 4g of added sugar per serving, depending on the flavor.
Which products contain caffeine?
Only Energy, which has 100mg of caffeine from green tea plus 200mg of L-theanine. Hydrate, Immunity and Sleep are caffeine-free.
How do I make a drink?
Pour one stick into 8 to 16 oz of cold water, stir until dissolved and enjoy, ideally over ice. Use less water for a stronger flavor.
Is Hydrant suitable for kids?
Hydrate is high in electrolytes, similar to pediatric rehydration and sports drinks, so keep amounts in mind. The Energy flavors contain caffeine.
Is it OK to drink while pregnant?
The brand recommends checking with your doctor first, and notes that Energy contains 100mg of caffeine per serving.
