About Joolies
Founded by David Kohl, Co-founder
Joolies grows and packs Medjool dates in California's Coachella Valley, selling them whole or pit-free alongside snacks built on the fruit: date and nut bites, nut-rolled date rolls and sour-coated dates. The Kohl family had been farming dates there for more than 20 years when David Kohl teamed up with entrepreneur Greg Willsey to start the brand in 2018. The name comes from David's young kids, who couldn't quite say Medjool.
