About Milk Bar
Founded by Christina Tosi, Founder and pastry chef
Milk Bar is a New York bakery known for layer cakes with unfrosted sides, gooey Milk Bar Pie, Compost Cookies and bite-sized cake truffles, many inspired by grocery store staples and classic American sweets. Pastry chef Christina Tosi founded it in 2008, opening the first shop in the East Village. Treats are baked to order and flash-frozen for nationwide shipping, and the range now includes at-home baking mixes.
