About Muddy Bites
Founded by Jarod and Tyler, Co-founders
Muddy Bites makes small waffle cone tips filled with chocolate and other sweet fillings, sold by the bag as a snack. Flavors range from milk, dark and peanut butter chocolate to churro and a Dubai-style pistachio, plus shortbread cookie cones with caramel or chocolate hazelnut centers. Founders Jarod and Tyler grew up in Le Mars, Iowa, and started the brand in 2018 after deciding the bottom of a sundae cone was the best part.

How many bites are in a bag?
About 12 cones per bag, which weighs roughly 2.33 oz.
How should I store Muddy Bites?
At room temperature, with the zipper resealed after each snack. Since they contain chocolate, a cool or room-temperature spot works best.
Are Muddy Bites kosher?
Yes. They are certified Kosher Dairy by the Orthodox Union.

What allergens are in Muddy Bites?
Milk, wheat and soy are listed allergens. All flavors are made in a facility that also handles peanuts, so people with severe peanut allergies are advised to avoid them.

Why does the chocolate sometimes look whitish?
That is cocoa bloom, a separation of fat and cocoa that can happen in storage or shipping. It changes the look but not the safety.
