About Naked Nutrition

Founded by Stephen Zieminski

Naked Nutrition makes protein powders and supplements built around short ingredient lists, with many products containing three ingredients or fewer. The range covers grass-fed whey, pea and other plant proteins, collagen, creatine, protein coffee and daily vitamins, all made without artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors. Stephen Zieminski, a former University of Florida track athlete, started the brand in 2014 with five single-ingredient supplements after struggling to find a protein powder he trusted.

Good to know

Answered by Naked Nutrition.

  • Are the products safe for people with nut or gluten allergies?

No gluten-containing ingredients are used, and products are tested for gluten. Most products are processed in nut- and soy-free facilities but packaged on lines shared with soy and nuts, which are cleaned between runs.

  • Do you sell lactose-free dairy protein?

No. All dairy-based proteins contain lactose, though goat whey contains a different form of lactose than cow's milk whey. A vegan line is also available.

  • Who tests the products?

Products are tested by a third-party lab in the United States, including for heavy metals.

  • Are the facilities GMP certified?

Yes. All processing and packaging facilities are GMP certified, audited by Silliker.

  • Are any products NSF certified?

Several proteins and supplements are NSF content certified, meaning their contents are tested for accuracy and purity.

  • Are the containers BPA free?

Yes. Containers are made from PET plastic, which is BPA free.

  • How are the cows treated?

The cows graze on pasture whenever possible, are never given growth hormones, and receive antibiotics only in life-or-death situations.

  • Do products contain banned substances?

No product contains anything on the banned substance list, and the production facilities never handle such substances.
