About Nebula Snacks

Founded by David Jacobowitz

Nebula Snacks makes individually wrapped, filled dark chocolate bites in flavors like salted caramel, mint, coconut and peanut butter, plus XL baking chips and a caramel drizzle. The chocolate uses Dominican Republic cacao and is sweetened with allulose and monk fruit, with no added sugar or sugar alcohols. Founder David Jacobowitz started the brand after years of trying to balance a sweet tooth with a pre-diabetes diagnosis, launching it from Austin, Texas in 2021.

  • What is Nebula chocolate sweetened with?

    A blend of monk fruit and allulose. No added sugars, artificial ingredients or sugar alcohols are used.

  • Does Nebula use sugar alcohols?

    No. There are no sugar alcohols, including erythritol; the monk fruit used does not contain erythritol as a filler.

  • Are the products vegan?

    All Chocolate Bites and the Dark Chocolate Baking Chips are dairy free and vegan.

  • Are the vegan products safe for people with milk allergies?

    No. They are made in a facility that also produces milk chocolate, so traces of milk protein cannot be ruled out.

  • Is Nebula chocolate gluten-free or soy-free?

    Yes. The bites and chips are gluten-free and contain no soy-based ingredients.

  • Is Nebula chocolate kosher?
