About PLINK!

Founded by Max and Luke, Co-founders

PLINK! makes fruity, fizzy electrolyte tablets that you drop into 12 oz of water, with flavors like Watermelon, Pomegranate Berry and Pineapple Grapefruit. Each tablet carries sodium, potassium and magnesium with 1g of sugar and 10 calories, sweetened with stevia and colored with vegetable juices. The brand was started by Max and Luke, two dads who wanted something their families enjoyed drinking instead of sugary bottled sports drinks or salty powders, and who wanted far less packaging than cans or bottles.

Good to know

Answered by PLINK!.

  • What is in a Plink! tablet?

Citric acid, dextrose, sodium and potassium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, malic acid, magnesium oxide, natural flavors, vegetable juice concentrate, avocado oil and steviol glycosides.

  • How much water should I use?

One tablet is designed for 12 oz of cold water. Use a little more for a lighter drink, or two tablets for a large bottle.

  • How much sugar does it contain?

Each tablet has 1g of sugar and 10 calories.

  • Why isn't it completely sugar-free?

A little glucose helps with electrolyte absorption, adds to the taste and helps bind the tablet together.

  • What sweetener and colors are used?

It is sweetened with stevia, and colors come from curcumin, vegetable juices, riboflavin and caramel color.

  • Is Plink! vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free?

    Yes, it is all three.

  • How long does a tablet take to dissolve?

About three minutes, depending on water temperature; ice-cold water takes longer.

  • Is the packaging recyclable?

The shipping box or envelope is curbside recyclable. The foil tablet wrappers currently are not and should go in the trash.
