Why do the bars list added sugar?
They are sweetened with organic raw honey, which FDA rules require to be labeled as added sugar. There is no refined sugar in the bars.
Where does the whey come from?
Prima sources its whey from pasture-raised, grass-fed cattle raised without hormones or antibiotics.
Are the bars sweet or savory?
Sweet. They are made with animal-based ingredients but taste like a dessert.
Are the bars gluten free?
Yes, all Prima products are certified gluten free.
Is Prima certified organic or non-GMO?
Not yet. The brand says it uses organic, non-GMO ingredients and is working toward certification.
What if my bars got cold?
