About Tea Drops
Tea Drops presses finely ground organic loose-leaf tea, spices and botanicals into single-serve drops that dissolve in hot water. There is no bag to steep or throw away, and most blends come lightly sweetened with organic demerara cane sugar. The range covers hot and iced teas, matcha, lattes and at-home boba kits. Leaves are sourced from Fair Trade certified farms abroad and the drops are made in the USA.
Good to know
Answered by Tea Drops.
How are Tea Drops made?
Organic whole-leaf tea from Fair Trade certified farms is finely ground, mixed with herbs and spices, and pressed into a drop. Nothing is freeze-dried or extracted, and they are made in the US.
Where is the tea sourced?
From around the world, including Japan, Sri Lanka and China. The leaves are imported and the drops are manufactured in the USA.
Do Tea Drops contain sugar?
Most blends are lightly sweetened with organic raw demerara cane sugar. You can adjust sweetness by adding more or less water or milk.
Do they dissolve completely?
Not entirely. Because they are made from real ground tea leaves, some fine sediment settles at the bottom of the cup. You can strain it if you prefer.
Is this instant tea?
It is instant in that you just add hot water and stir, but it is made from ground whole-leaf tea rather than spray-dried extracts or flavored powders.
What ingredients are in Tea Drops?
Finely ground whole-leaf tea, real fruit powders, whole spices, natural essential oils where used, and organic cane sugar in select blends.
Do you use artificial flavors?
No. Flavor comes from ground tea, fruit powders, spices and essential oils.
Are Tea Drops plastic free?
The tea itself is bagless, so there is no nylon or PET tea bag in your cup. Outer packaging is designed to be recyclable where facilities allow.
